# A Daily Horoscope Actually Written for Your Chart

You are not one of twelve people. Your daily read shouldn't be either. Here's a daily briefing computed from your birth chart, every morning.

## Overview

The daily horoscope you grew up with is a single paragraph for a twelfth of the planet. Supastro's Daily Briefing is the opposite: a short, specific card built each day from the transits hitting your natal chart and your current dasha — one clear opportunity, one action, one caution. Same idea as a horoscope, computed for one person: you.

## What your daily briefing includes

Each morning you get a compact read: the day's opportunity, a concrete action to lean into, and one caution — drawn from live transits over your natal placements and your running period. It's designed to be glanceable, not a wall of vague text.

## Why chart-based beats sign-based

Your rising sign and Moon do the heavy lifting in Vedic astrology, and the day's real planetary movement matters more than a static label. If you've ever felt your horoscope was 'off', this is why — it wasn't yours. For the deeper reasoning, see Can AI Be Your Astrologer? and the 27 nakshatras.

## Free with a Supastro account

The Daily Briefing is part of Supastro's free services. Create an account, add your birth details once, and your personal daily read is ready each morning — no per-day fee. Deeper readings and the always-on AI start from ₹599.

## Sun-sign vs chart-based

A sun-sign horoscope ignores your Moon, your Ascendant, your dasha and the exact transits of the day. A chart-based daily briefing uses all of them — which is why it can say something true about your day.

## How Supastro calculates this

Positions come from NASA JPL ephemeris data on the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa. Divisional charts run D1 through D60 and the higher vargas to D150, Ashtakavarga uses the full 337-point bindu system, planetary strength uses Shadbala across all six sources, and Vimshottari dasha is nested five levels deep. Where an unknown birth time makes a conclusion unreliable, Supastro says so rather than guessing.
