RASHIFAL · MAKARA RASHI
Capricorn Rashifal Today (Makara)
Sunday, 25 October 2026. The day for everyone whose Moon sign is Capricorn, read from where the Moon is passing. A Moon-sign reading, not a reading of your own chart.
Today for Capricorn Moon sign
An uneasy mood
A restless, uneasy day. Keep home calm and do not decide anything big on feelings alone. Softer than usual: Sun in your 10th house eases it (vedha works both ways).

- Aries, your 4th house

- Tue 27 Oct, 9:07 PM IST
- The receipt
- Moon in your 4th house (home, peace of mind): "fear", Phaladeepika 26.12
The Moon changes sign about every two and a quarter days, and this reading changes with it. Every Capricorn Moon sign gets the same line today.
Tomorrow, same time
Same as today: the Moon is still in Aries, your 4th house.
Next Chandrashtama
Tue 3 Nov, 3:47 AM IST to Thu 5 Nov, 9:36 AM IST
Chandrashtama is the two to two and a half days each month when the Moon passes the 8th sign from yours (Leo for Capricorn). Keep new starts, contracts and arguments out of it.

Sade Sati is the roughly seven and a half years Saturn spends in the sign before your Moon sign, your Moon sign and the sign after it. Dhaiya is its two and a half years in the 4th or 8th. How this is worked out
Your Moon sign counts as house 1. We find the sign the Moon is passing through now, from our own ephemeris in the sidereal (Lahiri) zodiac, and count how many signs on it is from Capricorn.
Phaladeepika gives the Moon's passage through the twelve houses as: fortune, loss of wealth, success, fear, sorrow, freedom from disease, happiness, untoward events, sickness, cherished wishes, joy and expenditure (26.12). That is the day's line, in plain words.
Then vedha, the obstruction rule (26.4): the Moon's good houses (1st, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 10th and 11th) each have a paired point (5th, 9th, 12th, 2nd, 4th and 8th). If a planet other than Mercury sits on that point, the good result is held back. Our tables also apply the pairing in reverse: a hard house is softened when a planet sits in its paired good house.
The nine-planet table runs the same check for every planet, with each planet's good houses and obstruction points from Phaladeepika 26.2–8. No AI writes any of this: the same sky gives every reader of a sign the same line.
Questions people ask
What does today's Capricorn rashifal say?
An uneasy mood. A restless, uneasy day. Keep home calm and do not decide anything big on feelings alone. Softer than usual: Sun in your 10th house eases it (vedha works both ways). The Moon is in Aries, your 4th house counted from Capricorn, until Tue 27 Oct, 9:07 PM IST. Phaladeepika (26.12) gives the Moon in this house "fear".
When is the next Chandrashtama for Capricorn Moon sign?
Next: from Tue 3 Nov, 3:47 AM IST to Thu 5 Nov, 9:36 AM IST. Chandrashtama is the two to two and a half days each month when the Moon passes the 8th sign from yours (Leo for Capricorn). Phaladeepika gives the Moon in the 8th "untoward events" (26.12), so almanacs keep new starts and contracts out of it.
Is Capricorn (Makara) in Sade Sati now?
No. Saturn is in your 3rd house counted from Capricorn. Sade Sati is the roughly seven and a half years Saturn spends in the 12th, 1st and 2nd houses from your Moon sign; Dhaiya is its two and a half years in the 4th or 8th.
Why is rashifal read from the Moon sign and not the Sun sign?
Phaladeepika opens its chapter on transits by saying that, of all the starting points, the Moon's sign is the one to count transits from (26.1). Your Moon sign (rashi) is the sign the Moon was in at your birth, in the sidereal zodiac Indian astrology uses, and it is often not your Western Sun sign.
Is this my personal horoscope?
No. It is the same reading for everyone whose Moon is in Capricorn. Your own chart changes it: which planetary period (dasha) you are running, the strength of each planet, your birth star and your ascendant. For a version that also counts your birth star, use Your Transits Today.
How do I find my Moon sign?
Make a free kundli (birth chart) with your date, time and place of birth; the Moon sign, or rashi, is shown at the top. If you only want the sign and your birth star, the nakshatra finder does it in one step.
Don't know your Moon sign?
It is often not the sign a Western horoscope gives you. Find it from your birth details in a minute.
