Best Vedic Daily Horoscope Apps (2026): Rashifal by Moon Sign, Daily Timings and Readings From Your Own Chart

Disclosure: Supastro publishes this comparison and makes one of the apps on it. Every competitor fact comes from the company's own pages or store listings, figures last checked on 25 October 2026. Nobody paid to be included, and nobody gets a star rating from us.

What makes a daily horoscope Vedic?

Three things, in rising order of how much they are about you.

  1. Your rashi. In Vedic astrology your sign is your Moon sign: the sign the Moon stood in when you were born, measured against the fixed stars. Western horoscopes use your Sun sign, set by your birthday in a zodiac tied to the seasons. The Vedic zodiac is tied to the stars and sits about 24 degrees behind it today (Drik Panchang showed the Lahiri correction at 24.24 degrees on 25 October 2026). Between the switch to the Moon and that shift, your Vedic sign is often not the one you grew up reading.
  2. Gochar, counted from your Moon. Gochar means transits: where the planets move today. Vedic astrology judges them by their distance from your Moon. Sade Sati, Saturn's seven and a half years, begins when Saturn enters the sign just before your Moon sign, whatever your birthday says.
  3. Your own kundli (birth chart) and dasha. A dasha is the planetary period your life is running now. Two people with the same Moon sign can be in opposite chapters. Only a reading built from your full chart and your dasha is written for one person.

A rashifal (a daily forecast by rashi) is one paragraph for a twelfth of the population. Use it for the weather. Use the third level for decisions.

Which daily horoscope apps are worth opening every morning?

1. AstroSage: the honest Moon-sign rashifal

AstroSage states its method on its sign pages: "generalized predictions based on your moon sign". Each page carries a named author and the date, and its free Transit Today report reads the day's planets against your own Moon sign. The site also sells a ₹299 personalised horoscope and runs a gemstone shop.

2. Drik Panchang: the day itself

Drik Panchang publishes a Moon-sign rashiphal in four languages, but its real daily value is the panchang: the lunar day (tithi), the Moon's star (nakshatra), sunrise, and the hours to use or avoid, such as Rahu Kalam, for your own city. It can send you daily notifications. It writes nothing personal.

3. Supastro: a daily briefing from your own chart (ours)

With a free account and your birth details, Supastro's Daily Briefing is built each morning from your running dasha, your chart and the day's transits: one opportunity, one action, one caution. Without an account, the daily rashifal gives each of the 12 Moon signs one line for the day, worked out by rule from where the Moon is passing (Phaladeepika's transit chapter), with no AI writing it. Your Transits Today shows which planets work for your Moon sign, and Today's Panchang gives the day's timings for your city.

4. AskSoma: both signs, and a chart-based Daily Pulse

AskSoma keeps Sun-sign pages for Western readers and separate Moon-sign rashifal pages in Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu. A free account unlocks its Daily Pulse, which it says reads your Moon, dasha and live transits. More in Supastro vs AskSoma.

5. Om.AI: Moon sign on the web, your kundli in the app

Om.AI's web horoscope asks for your Moon sign and says so. Inside the app it reads your full kundli and gives "best hours" for career, money and love, set by your ascendant, the sign rising at your birth. Tomorrow's hours are a Premium feature, and Premium prices appear only in the app.

6. align27: a rating for your whole day

align27 skips signs. It rates each day Green, Amber or Red from your birth chart and splits it into timed "Moments". It is the most personal daily tool here. It is also the most expensive: the only public price is a $449.99 lifetime membership.

7. Melooha: rashi-first, in Hinglish

Melooha says outright that it reads your rashi, not your Western Sun sign, and its AI answers in English, Hindi or Hinglish. Its own horoscope index still pairs each rashi with Sun-sign dates, which will confuse a beginner.

Use with care: Astrotalk tells you the Moon sign is "the main one used" while its sign cards carry Sun-sign dates, and its horoscope pages sell bracelets and gemstones. Clickastro's English page and GaneshaSpeaks use Sun-sign dates, and GaneshaSpeaks asks for your "Sun Sign" in plain words. Nummi calls itself Vedic, yet on 25 October its homepage showed the Sun at 2 degrees Scorpio, the Western position; the Vedic Sun that day was in Libra, as AstroSage and Om.AI both showed.

Where does Supastro fall short for daily use?

It is English only, with no Hindi rashifal. The personal briefing needs a free account and your birth details, so it is not a two-second glance at your sign. There is no Play Store or App Store app. The daily planner, emailed the evening before, needs a paid plan.

What else do people ask about daily horoscope apps?

Should I read my horoscope by Moon sign or Sun sign?

For Vedic astrology, Moon sign. The Moon moves fastest and stands for the mind, so Jyotish counts the day's transits from it. A Sun-sign horoscope belongs to the Western system.

How do I find my Moon sign?

Enter your birth date, time and place into a free kundli. Supastro's free kundli and nakshatra finder show your Moon sign and birth star in a minute.

Is a daily horoscope accurate for me personally?

A rashifal is written for everyone born with the Moon in your sign, one person in twelve. It can describe the day's weather. Only a reading from your chart and your running dasha can say what the day means for you.

Which daily horoscope app is free?

AstroSage, Drik Panchang, Prokerala and GaneshaSpeaks publish free sign horoscopes. AskSoma's Daily Pulse and Supastro's Daily Briefing are free with an account. align27 and Nummi charge.

Which app gives a daily rashifal in Hindi?

AstroSage, Drik Panchang (also Gujarati and Marathi), Astrotalk, Prokerala and GaneshaSpeaks all publish Hindi rashifal. AskSoma covers six Indian languages. Om.AI's app runs in Hindi. Supastro does not.

Should I check Rahu Kalam every day?

If you are starting something that matters, yes. Rahu Kalam is a daily stretch of about 90 minutes, one-eighth of daylight, that tradition avoids for new beginnings. It moves with your city's sunrise, so use Rahu Kaal for your city, not a national table.
