Sagittarius Horoscope 2027 (Dhanu)

The year for Sagittarius Moon sign, from where Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu move in 2027. Every date is computed; every verdict comes from Phaladeepika's chapter on transits.

My verdict · Hard year

Hard. Kantaka Shani presses on home, and the nodes sit across your money houses all year.

Kantaka Shani (Saturn in the 4th house from your Moon) until 3 June and again from 20 October, at its sharpest from 11 March to 3 June. The text gives Saturn here losses through spouse, relatives and money.
Rahu in your 2nd (money) and Ketu in your 8th (obstacles) all year. The text gives Rahu in the 2nd loss of money.
Your one window: Jupiter in your 9th (luck, elders) from 26 June to 26 November, at its strongest from 15 August to 1 October; it was there in January too. In between, from 25 January, Jupiter sits in your 8th, though exalted there, which the text says does no harm (26.31).

What to do: Protect home and savings; use August and September for anything that needs luck.

When the slow planets act most

Phaladeepika says Saturn gives its results in the last ten degrees of a sign, Jupiter in the middle ten, and Rahu all through the sign (26.25). In 2027 that gives these windows for Sagittarius:

Saturn, 11 Mar 2027 – 3 Jun 2027: Pisces, your 4th house (home, peace of mind) · hard
Saturn, 20 Oct 2027 – 31 Dec 2027: Pisces, your 4th house (home, peace of mind) · hard
Jupiter, 15 Aug 2027 – 1 Oct 2027: Leo, your 9th house (luck, elders, travel) · helps

Planet by planet

Saturn

Phaladeepika 26.22–23

1 Jan 2027 – 3 Jun 2027
Pisces, your 4th house (home, peace of mind). Not one of Saturn's supporting houses. The text's result for this house: losses through spouse, relatives and money.
3 Jun 2027 – 20 Oct 2027
Aries, your 5th house (children, studies, ideas). Not one of Saturn's supporting houses. The text's result for this house: money declines, worry over children, a muddled mind. Aries is Saturn's sign of fall, which makes a hard house harder (1.6, 26.32). In 2027, though, Saturn stays in the first few degrees of Aries, outside the last ten where it acts (26.25): a preview of 2028.
20 Oct 2027 – 31 Dec 2027
Pisces, your 4th house (home, peace of mind). Not one of Saturn's supporting houses. The text's result for this house: losses through spouse, relatives and money.

Jupiter

Phaladeepika 26.18–20

1 Jan 2027 – 25 Jan 2027
Leo, your 9th house (luck, elders, travel). A supporting house for Jupiter. The text's result for this house: prosperity of every kind.
25 Jan 2027 – 26 Jun 2027
Cancer, your 8th house (obstacles, sudden events). Not one of Jupiter's supporting houses. The text's result for this house: tiring travel, bad luck and money loss. Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, and the text says an exalted planet in a hard house does no harm (1.6, 26.31).
26 Jun 2027 – 26 Nov 2027
Leo, your 9th house (luck, elders, travel). A supporting house for Jupiter. The text's result for this house: prosperity of every kind.
26 Nov 2027 – 31 Dec 2027
Virgo, your 10th house (work, reputation). Not one of Jupiter's supporting houses. The text's result for this house: risk to property, position and children.

Rahu

Phaladeepika 26.2 and 26.24

1 Jan 2027 – 31 Dec 2027
Capricorn, your 2nd house (money, family, speech). Not one of Rahu's supporting houses. The text's result for this house: loss of money.

Ketu

Phaladeepika 26.2

1 Jan 2027 – 31 Dec 2027
Cancer, your 8th house (obstacles, sudden events). Not one of Ketu's supporting houses.

Good houses from the Moon (26.2): Saturn the 3rd, 6th and 11th; Jupiter the 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th; Rahu and Ketu, which the text says behave like the Sun, the 3rd, 6th, 10th and 11th. Vedha (26.5, 26.7): a good house gives nothing while another planet sits in its paired house. Here only Saturn and Jupiter are checked against each other; the faster planets add obstructions for days at a time, which Your Transits Today checks daily.
